Business Adviser Training and Accreditation
Business advisers working within the local business development community either with government departments or agencies, Chambers of Commerce or NGOs (and other similar organisations) are often at a disadvantage in dealing with private sector companies. They are often perceived to be civil servants, failed business people or just useless.
Formal accreditation enables business advisers to be recognised as competent and credible by stakeholders within the business community and the government. It also allows them to demonstrate a level of competence which will enable them to have a positive impact with the companies they support.
The GO Group originated Scotland's first business adviser standard which all advisers working in the Enterprise support network must attain. We believe that as practitioners as well as trainers we are best placed to support your organistaion in upgrading its advisory capability.
Example Project:
In 2009, we were commissioned by the Centre for Enterprise Development in St Vincent to support them in training and accrediting the Business Advisers working within their network. The project was compeleted in September that year.
